“Don’t call me lil’ miss!”
Overview
Vaggie is Charlie Morningstar's girlfriend and works beside her at the Hazbin Hotel. She is a former Exorcist angel who now lives in Hell. She is small in stature, has lavender-toned skin, one eye, and wears a bow in her hair and a skirt.
Personality and traits
- Fiercely protective of Charlie and the hotel, standing beside her through every fight.

- Practical about combat, passing along what she learned about Exorcist tactics and keeping Charlie focused on the fight.
- Loyal and steadfast in love, willing to hear Charlie out.

She does so because she sees how much Kevin and Charlie endured, understands why Charlie kissed him, says she would likely have done the same in his place, and recognizes that Charlie's life held real joy among the pain. She feels no jealousy, only that Charlie's happiness comes first, and she likes that Kevin is such a gentleman.

“In time, everyone makes a deal with the Radio Demon.”
Overview
Alastor, known as the Radio Demon, is an overlord of Hell who has eliminated many other overlords since his arrival and who counts as an ally of Charlie's hotel. He speaks in a static-laced voice, carries a microphone, wears a long coat, and keeps a fixed smile on his face. Little is known about his past or motives.
Personality and traits
- He is an enigma whose motivations are described as curious and uncertain, and even those who compile information on him know little beyond his record against other overlords.
- He wields magic regarded as rivaling that of most of Hell's great overlords, raising a protective shield around the hotel and summoning crews of construction demons at will.
- He is courteous and theatrical in his speech, answering requests with phrases such as "Why, certainly" and humming tunes like "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" as he walks off.
- His smile is constant but not always sincere, and it can stay in place while one eye twitches or while his stare turns cold.
- He is competitive and a little petty, clashing over designs and materials with Lucifer and conjuring seats for everyone in a room except him.
- He is willing to make deals, and he can be useful to others in practice, as when he helped win over allies for the hotel's defense.
- He is slow to warm to newcomers and holds himself apart from those he distrusts.
Connections
- Charlie Morningstar — He serves as her ally and takes direction from her, cooperating with Lucifer when she insists on it and helping her recruit support for the hotel.

Molly
Human
“You couldn’t stop me!”
Overview
Molly grew up in a rough neighborhood, where an older brother who always had her back taught her to read people, trust her instincts and look after herself. When she first appears she is seventeen, curly-haired and caged alongside a group of stolen children, and she is already the one the younger kids turn to. Serious and direct beyond her years, she says what she means, swears when she feels like it, and refuses to stand by while anyone else suffers. Once she is rescued, she turns eighteen within weeks and sets her sights on joining Angel’s team. She trains under Panther, who gives her the nickname Spiderbite, and she goes on to become a covert operative on Kevin’s team.
Background
- Grew up in a rough neighborhood, where her older brother looked out for her and taught her street smarts, self-defense and weapons handling.
- Never believed in demons, monsters or angels. Her world was the human one, where the worst monsters were people like the traffickers who took her.
- Her brother is the first person she thinks of when the world cracks open. “My brother’s never gonna believe this!” is her reaction to learning Charlie is real.
- Wants to repay what she was given. Having been protected, she turns that into protecting others, and at eighteen she asks for training so she can join Angel’s team.
Personality and traits
- Doesn’t take bullshit. She slams a captor’s head into the bars and tells him it is for her cheek, then demands the key and a way out. She says exactly what she means, and swears freely while doing it.
- Matches energy. Kindness gets warmth, distance gets distance, and hostility gets it back with interest. She kisses a frightened little girl’s forehead and whispers that everything will be okay, then sizes up a stranger with a gun in the next breath.
- Stubborn, but respects real authority. She argues, pushes and refuses to be sidelined, yet answers “Yes, Sir” the moment she trusts someone to lead, and she later goes through boot camp under Panther’s mentoring.
- Protective empathy. Younger kids look to her for guidance and she takes charge of them, counting heads, checking every vehicle and giving the drivers a thumbs-up only when everyone is secure. She cannot stand by knowing what was done to other children.
- Tough on the outside, tender underneath. She holds back her tears until the kids are safe, then lets them fall on the ride out and wipes them away with a brave smile. “It is. And it will be.”
- Quick to wonder. She starts out skeptical about Charlie, with a raised eyebrow, then her face softens into awe. She presses against the window to look at Hell’s magic and whispers “Holy. Shit.” at her first teleport. Under the street armor she still has a child’s sense of wonder.
- Fierce and determined. “You couldn’t stop me!” She decides what she will do and does it, and she vows to help bring every missing child home.
- Sharp-tongued with affection. As Spiderbite she mocks the people she looks up to, and heckles Kevin whenever he gets hurt through his own mistakes. It is her way of showing she cares.
- Gifted marksman. Panther gave her the name Spiderbite because she never minced words and is exceptionally adept with tranquilizer guns. She did not appreciate the name at first.
- Terrified of spiders, which made her nickname a sore point at first.
Style and tastes
- A tomboy by nature, comfortable in practical, no-fuss clothes, but still feminine. She will dress up when she goes out with family or on a date.
- Listens to rock and hip hop when she is around other people, but privately loves pop and inspirational music.
Background, upbringing and tastes in this profile are the author’s notes on the character. They are not stated in the chapters shown.
Connections
- Panther — Her mentor. She trusts Panther, takes training from her, and lets her guard down with her. Panther is the one who gave her the name Spiderbite.
- Patch — Her captor. He bruises her face when she shields another child, and she repays him in the rescue by slamming his head into the cage bars.
- Brute — She asks Brute for a weapon, respects his commands, and answers him as a soldier.
- Charlie Morningstar — She is awed by Charlie and admires her ferocity in protecting the innocent. “To anyone who’d dare harm the innocent, I’m their fucking nightmare.” “Fucking A!”
- Kevin Angelus Collins — She joins his team and follows his lead, and she looks up to him enough to tease him without mercy.
- Cassie — She accepts Cassie as a fellow member of the team, and Cassie sees her teasing of Kevin as affection.

Rygen, formally Canis Infernus Rygen, the Devourer, is a hellhound from the Gluttony ring of Hell. In his true form he is a massive, triangular beast with charcoal leathery skin, a lion-like mane, a wolf's muzzle, blood-red eyes, and enormous jaws, roughly three times the size of a Doberman. Patch
Human
“Don’t fucking move!”
Overview
Patch is the commanding officer of the armed guards who watch the caged children in Bible’s basement. A cruel, hard-faced man with an eye patch over his left eye, he is known only by the nickname his men gave him. Molly, the older girl in the cages, marks him out as the worst of them. He carries the keys, hauls children off to Bible’s clients, and punishes anyone who gets in his way. When the rescue team storms the warehouse, he is one of the few guards still on his feet, and he is the one who ends up paying for what he did to Molly.

- Domineering. He is the group’s commanding officer and acts like it, treating the prisoners as property and swearing at anyone who gets in his way.
- Obedient to Bible. He serves his boss without question, standing guard over the cages and taking a child away whenever Bible wants one.
- Quick to the trigger. Cornered by intruders, he opens with “Don’t fucking move!” and fires off a round the moment he is startled, only to hit the wall above the door.

Overview
Darcy, whose full name is Darsamiel-Sariel Serafa Ruach Elohim, is a High Seraph of Heaven, a dark angel and harbinger of possibilities who walks into other people’s dreams. Her hair runs black at the roots and fades to white at the ends. Her eyes are black with no white at all, ringed by thin pale crescents, and her skin is living gold-white light, scarred like a night sky, with both arms charred black past the elbow. She has no nose, and a halo that turns the wrong direction, rimmed in flame. She is calm, unhurried and impossible to read.
Story

Personality and traits
- Is controlled and authoritative in public, and expects to be listened to without having to ask.
- Is direct and secretive at once, telling the truth in a way that still keeps the full picture hidden.
- Has a dry, grimly cheerful sense of humor, and clearly enjoys her part in the game.
- Speaks bluntly when it matters, and quietly enough that it lands harder.
- Rarely curses, and only when it makes a point.
- Enters dreams, reshapes them and makes them her own ground, using her power as atmosphere more than as force.

Darcy is an original character created by AbyssalVoid.
Satan
Sin of Wrath

In the art Satan is a tall red dragon-like figure with huge red bat wings, long striped maroon horns, glowing yellow eyes, a tattered black vest with gold pins, black trousers and a spiked tail.
In the story

- Strict about the law. Lucifer says “the law is the law” is something he respects, though the two have a long and complicated history.
- Interfering in an overlord’s deal with a sinner can land a person in court before Satan himself, where there are no juries or trials, only judgment.
- Lucifer and Charlie can keep Kevin out of his direct line of sight, and Kevin is warned not to pick fights he does not have to pick.
Satan is created, owned and copyrighted by Vivienne Medrano, Spindlehorse, A24 and Amazon Prime, and is used here only as a fan-fiction character.

- Known for throwing the best parties, though Lucifer warns she tends to have a lot of party favors that would not fit the idea of redemption.
